Hi, My name Is Jan Peacock, and I am the author of Francois Foster and his dysfunctional family Down under!
My many Fans will know me under the alias of SJP , Siennajane and then my surname! Very shortly I am going to post the manuscript of a story of a young boy called Francois, his twin Francine, mum Sheila, dad Bruce and of course Pierre the pooch, the story plays off in oz down under, where I myself was raised, based on my experiences, my life ,my beliefs, values etc! I wrote it originally for my own children, and my daughter at the time found it so great that she made a website dedicated to the fosters on piczo, thats where it originally started, the kids that visited piczo and read about the family were so enthused by it, that they wanted more and more!, The children allso started writting in with their daily problems and my characters answered with their personal advice!
It was after posting the first 3 chapters of the book that it became phenomenal, to the extent that the kids were setting up fan clubs worldwide, and trying to find out where to buy the book! There were even teachers writting in from New Zealand that had started reading the story to the children! I am not writting this to blow my own trumpet or to inflate my own ego, for as you read the story, you will find, that thats not what i am about! I set out to write a story that would set off a chain reaction to make each and every child feel good about themselves! I will say no more as not to give too much away! Pleasant reading, enjoy and soak up the energy of the words as they flow through your mind! Your comments welcome, i would just like to add that it has reached the ages from between 6 and 15!
